In 2013, Revell Germany has re-issued the 1/540 Angled Deck Essex and Revell/Monogram has re-issued the Renwal version of their 1/500 Angled Deck Essex kits. In 2012, Revell re-issued the Midway Class kits, only available thru the USS Midway Gift Shop On-line. These aircraft can populate these decks and give the builder many more options for accurate air groups.
